Paddington is home to three important landmarks: Paddington Station, designed by the celebrated engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel and opened in 1847, St Mary’s Hospital and Paddington Green Police Station. And of course is best known for the lovable, very polite bear from ‘Darkest Peru’, Paddington Bear. Paddington has undergone major regeneration on the site of the former railway and canal and has many new developments.

Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London and is one the Royal Parks of London and merges seamlessly with Kensington Park giving an overall area of 253 hectares (630 acres).  The park is host to a wealth of activities, events, memorials and cafes.
